West Nile Virus Activity
The District is seeing increasing West Nile virus detections in both Sutter and Yuba Counties. This week the District has detected an additional nine positive mosquito samples, one positive dead bird, and six sentinel chickens within both counties. Please don’t take any chances and protect yourself by applying a good mosquito repellent and by wearing long sleeves and pants at dawn and dusk when mosquito activity is high.
