Risk of West Nile virus continues to increase throughout Sutter county as more mosquitoes test positive for the virus. The District continues to fight the bite and treat both Sutter and Yuba County. We are asking our communities to partner with us by wearing EPA approved repellent when outdoors and mosquitoes are active, dump and drain any standing water around your property, report neglected swimming pools, wearing long sleeves/pants during dusk and dawn when mosquito activity is high, and staying informed by following our Facebook page, website, or signing up for our email notifications.
