West Nile Virus Activity
The district is seeing increasing West Nile virus numbers in both Sutter and Yuba County. This week the district has detected an additional eight positive mosquito samples and 1 positive dead bird within both counties. Please don’t take any chances and protect yourself by applying a good mosquito repellent and by wearing long sleeves and pants at dawn and dusk when mosquito activity is high.
