Mosquitofish will not be available for the public again until April 1, 2016. Mosquito breeding slows down and comes to a stop as average daily temperatures dropoff in the fall. The District maintains a stock of mosquitofish through the winter but counts on these populations to reproduce in the spring and early summer for seasonal mosquito control needs.
