After the conclusion of our Board of Trustees Special Meeting on Thursday, March 26, 2020, we are once again open to the public. Please keep in mind, for onsite visitors, we are limiting entry, allowing one person at a time, to promote recommended social distancing. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
The Sutter-Yuba Mosquito & Vector Control District is committed to protecting public health and we are taking pro-active measures to protect our staff and District residents by helping to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We will continue to provide essential services such as disease surveillance, as well as mosquito surveillance, inspections and control. Mosquitoes are vectors of several diseases including West Nile virus. It is important to understand that COVID-19 is not transmitted through the bite of a mosquito.
We will continue to monitor, assess and adjust our operations should conditions change.
