Mosquitofish available beginning April 1st

Mosquitofish will be available to residents of the District to place in mosquito breeding sources on their own property beginning April 1, 2017. Mosquitoes find that livestock troughs, neglected swimming pools and spas, ornamental ponds and other sources that will hold water through the summer make great places to lay their eggs. You can stop these mosquitoes from multiplying right in your own backyard, making outdoor activities much more enjoyable this season! District residents can pick up mosquitofish, free of charge, Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM at 701 Bogue Road in Yuba City. Please bring a small ice chest or clean 5 gallon bucket with lid for transport. Residents that live outside of the District may come for up to 50 mosquitofish per address.
