An aerial mosquito control applications have been scheduled for agricultural areas west of Yuba City and south of Live Oak tonight, August 15, 2023.  Spraying has been scheduled starting at sunset and lasting 2 to 3 hours. Although this material poses a low risk to human health, some people may prefer to avoid or minimize exposure by staying indoors, keeping their windows closed and turning off their window –mounted air conditioners, evaporative coolers and whole house fans when spraying is taking place in the immediate area. Additional Town Fogging 8/14/2023

Due to detections of West Nile Virus, additional adult mosquito control applications will take place in Johnson Park area, Olivehurst, Edgewater, and Plumas Lake area on Tuesday morning, August 15, 2023 as early as 3:30 am and lasting up until 6:30am.  Spraying will be performed with pickup mounted foggers, with an amber colored flashing light. Although this material poses a low risk to human health, some people may prefer to avoid or minimize exposure by staying indoors, keeping their windows closed and turning off their window –mounted air conditioners, evaporative coolers and whole house fans when spraying is taking place in the immediate area. An aerial mosquito control application has been scheduled for agricultural areas north of Marysville and areas south of Linda and Olivehurst and east of Plumas Lake and south of Wheatland tonight, August 14, 2023. Spraying will be performed starting at sunset and lasting 2 to 3 hours.  All treatments are dependent on appropriate weather conditions, and visibility due to smoke.  Aircraft applications will be made with a white, with red stripe Ag Wagon, white twin engine Cessna 232 Skymaster, or a yellow and blue stripe Air Tractor flying at approximately 300 feet in elevation.

REMINDER Town fogging continues in Wheatland, Plumas Lake, Linda, Marysville, south Yuba City, Live Oak, Sutter, Tierra Buena, Olivehurst, and Edgewater. The application is scheduled to take place tomorrow morning, August 10th.
