Mosquito abundance numbers have significantly dropped and regular spray routes for mosquito control have come to an end for the 2020 season. In response to any remaining ongoing mosquito production, we will mitigate these sources with larvae and adult mosquito control pesticide applications as necessary. These applications will be generally much more limited in scope and may be made by air, but primarily with ground based truck foggers or other application equipment. We anticipate that the strong majority of these applications will be in agricultural and rural areas of the District.
