Due to detections of an invasive Aedes aegypti mosquito discovered in Yuba City neighborhoods, a larvicide spray has been scheduled. Larvacide Spraying will be in Tierra Buena area and North East Yuba City (Tuesday morning), West Yuba City (Wednesday morning), October 5th and 6th as early as 3:30 am and lasting up until 6:00am. Spraying will be performed with a pickup mounted blower. Those living in or near this neighborhood that notice a small (about 1/4 inch) black and white marked mosquito that bites in the day time and often enters homes, should report them to the District (530) 674-5456.
