Due to detections of an invasive Aedes aegypti mosquito discovered in Yuba City neighborhoods, a larvicide spray has been scheduled. Larvacide Spraying will be in Tierra Buena & North East Yuba City (Tuesday morning), West Yuba City & Shanghai Bend (Wednesday morning), September 21st and 22nd as early as 3:30 am and lasting up until 6:00am. Spraying will be performed with a pickup mounted blower. Those living in or near thes neighborhoods that notice a small (about 1/4 inch) black and white marked mosquito that bites in the day time and often enters homes, should report them to the District (530) 674-5456.
