Town Fogging for Monday, September 5th, has been changed to tonight, Tuesday, September 6th. The change has been made due to the Labor Day holiday. The areas impacted by the change include Bogue to Lincoln, Plumas Lake, East Marysville, Hallwood, Robbins and Meridian. These areas will resume on Monday evenings starting on September 12th.  All treatments are dependent on favorable weather conditions.  Fogging begins at sunset and lasts up to 3 hours. The District will continue using Permanone, a synthetic pyrethroid. Generally, there is no need to relocate during spraying. Sensitive individuals can take steps to reduce exposure by remaining indoors during applications and turning off evaporative coolers and whole house fans. Applications are predicated on mosquito abundance and favorable weather conditions.
