Due to detections of invasive Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, a larvicide spray has been scheduled. Larvacide spraying will take place in Tierra Buena, Shanghai Bend, and Northgate areas, August 16th as early as 3:30 am and lasting up until 6:00am. Spraying will be performed with a pickup mounted blower. Those living in or near these neighborhoods that notice a small (about 1/4 inch) black and white marked mosquito that bites in the day time and often enters homes, should report them to the District (530) 674-5456. For more information on the Aedes aepypti mosquito please see our website.
