Due to the detection of an invasive Aedes aegypti mosquito discovered in a Yuba City neighborhood, a larvicide spray has been scheduled. Larvacide Spraying in Yuba City will be Tuesday morning, August 17, 2021 as early as 3:30 am and lasting up until 6:00am. Spraying will be performed with a pickup mounted blower. Those living in or near this neighborhood that notice a small (about 1/4 inch) black and white marked mosquito that bites in the day time and often enters homes, should report them to the District (530) 674-5456.
