Due to detections of an invasive Aedes aegypti mosquito discovered in Yuba City neighborhoods, a larvicide spray has been scheduled. Larvacide Spraying will be in Tierra Buena area and Shanghai Bend area, July 13th as early as 3:30 am and lasting up until 6:00am. Spraying will be performed with a pickup mounted blower. Those living in or near this neighborhood that notice a small (about 1/4 inch) black and white marked mosquito that bites in the day time and often enters homes, should report them to the District (530) 674-5456. For more information on the Aedes aepypti mosquito please see our website.
